The Institute for Information Transmission Problems of Russian Academy of Sciences, St.Petersburg State University of Airspace Instrumentation (SUAI) and the Institute of Mathematics and Informatics of Bulgarian Academy of Sciences are planning to organize Eighth International Workshop on Algebraic and Combinatorial Coding Theory in Tsarskoe Selo (near St.Petersburg) from Sunday, September 8, to Saturday, September 14, 2002.

The Workshop covers the following topics:

• linear codes;
• combinatorial codes;
• algebraic-geometrical codes;
• fast decoding;
• encoding with additional information;
• covering problems in coding theory and related topics.

Two copies of the submitted papers (4 camera ready pages in English) should be received before June 1, 2002} by
